Does picking a date book the job?
For single-site captures, sending a request asks us to confirm a day inside your window. That does not book the job — booking happens when you sign and return the service agreement. We reply within one business day with a proposed date and that agreement. Nothing is charged to send the request. Quote totals can still adjust after measured square footage. Portfolio programs are scheduled on a call.
Who shows up on site?
Not “one guy from depthNest who does every job.” After you book, we assign a vetted local operator in your market. They bring the camera and run the capture. depthNest stays your coordinator for scheduling, scope, and delivery.
How fast can we schedule?
For single-site jobs, request an earliest–latest window in the booking flow. We confirm a day inside that window within one business day. Portfolio programs are scheduled on a call after we scope the rollout.
Is the price I see the price I pay?
Yes. Enter your square footage and see a quote. That quote is not final until after capture — if measured area differs by more than 5% or 500 sq ft, we recalculate at the same rates (billed if larger, credited if smaller). Finishing the calculator does not book the job; booking happens when you sign and return the service agreement.
Do you replace our facilities or property software?
No. depthNest captures and delivers the digital twin, floor plans, and optional BIM exports. You keep (or choose) whatever facilities, CMMS, or portfolio tools you already use. We are the booking and capture partner, not a property intelligence platform.
Can facilities and construction reuse the same capture?
Yes. That is the point. One approved job produces a shareable twin and plans so teams stop ordering separate site surveys for the same address.
What do I get after the shoot?
A hosted 3D walkthrough (share link and iframe embed) with Explore mode for free roam and Story mode for a guided path you set, plus notes pinned in the model, measurements, blur, defurnish, dollhouse and floor plan views, schematic floor plan options, and optional BIM/E57 or DWG. Files typically arrive within 72 hours of capture. Captured with Matterport Pro3 equipment.
Do you work outside my city?
Yes. depthNest is a nationwide capture network: you book with us, then we route the job to a vetted local operator in your market so commercial, industrial, residential, and multi-site work is not stuck on a single person’s calendar.
Who owns the tour?
You get the shareable links and embed code for your listings and sites. Hosting and transfer options are confirmed with your coordinator so you’re not locked into a mystery markup.
